The Gateway School is proud to present this Special Report. This professional publication consists of a series of articles that define the primary challenges of students with language-based learning disabilities and attention deficits. The intent is to explore a few of the issues that commonly arise with children, paint a few pictures of what these look like at various ages and stages, and offer guidance on what can be done to define and remediate them. Serving as a general primer for parents, these articles are based on interviews with Gateway administrators and specialists, and they offer examples drawn from our developed program that relies on multisensory instruction and is guided by an integrated curriculum.
