Founding Hellings Builders in 1998, Ross Hellings has dedicated a lifetime to building better homes. Together with Jay Thuer, who partnered with Ross in 2000, the two have built an exceptional business known for phenomenal quality, expert attention to detail, and a care for clients that goes above and beyond. After earning his degree from Penn State, Ross Hellings began his career in the family’s home building business. Since 1988, Ross has gained extensive experience building hundreds of homes in a variety of communities as well as working for a leading national luxury builder. In 1997, Ross launched his own business and began building custom homes on client-owned properties, renovating homes, and developing quaint communities throughout the Delaware Valley. He oversees the operations and plans the future direction of the company. Ross will work hand in hand with you from the initial design consultation until long after you move in to make sure your home building experience delights you. On every project, regardless of the size, he brings his passion for finely crafted homes and puts his focus on the clients’ best interests. Jay Thuer has been renovating homes since the early 1990s, with hundreds of renovation projects under his belt. In the year 2000, he partnered with Ross, bringing his vast experience, including several years as an owner of his own remodeling business. Utilizing his wealth of knowledge, he has enhanced our clients' living spaces and helped develop many of our quality control procedures while managing our construction teams. Jay will work with you early on during the planning stage and will use his incredible ability to turn your ideas for a dream house into reality. His dedication to detail and integrity epitomize our mission of building a higher standard.
