Framing and hanging drywall were all completed by TGC employees who utilized their VTO (volunteer time off) to help give back to the community. Products and supplies were purchased and provided by The Garrett Co, as well as supplying subcontractors to complete MEP work, flooring, and painting. The new space will provide KIC-IT with the ability to comfortably house up to 4 teens in-need of a place to stay. With The Garrett Companies providing this renovation free-of-charge, KIC-IT is able to allocate more funds to resources such as counseling services or financial assistance for at-risk teens.
