bundle of energy…. that’s how I felt about Leena Khandelwal when I first met her. Today Leena is the COO of geoAMPS®, a technology company involved in Land Rights and Infrastructure Asset Management, a franchise owner of Club Pilates®, and a highly influential business woman in Columbus, OH. But the journey wasn’t always easy. With a background in marketing, advertising and technology, Leena and her husband, Yogesh, both worked
average jobs at Nationwide Insurance. Always having a strong entrepreneurial bug, Yogesh started working on software development for this idea he had for managing Land Rights. While he worked on the technology side, Leena built the user interface and worked on product support, QA, HR, and marketing. She wore multiple hats and put in long hours, all this while being a mom to two wonderful kids and managing the household. “We built everything from scratch. I worked day and night. The business needed a lot of hard work and drive”, said Leena. Needless to say, it required a lot of blood, sweat, and tears; but the result was sweet, as they created geoAMPS®, one of the most successful businesses in its category. In 2019 when things began to settle down at geoAMPS®, and as they became empty nesters, Leena wanted to do something for herself….something that she was passionate about, something that was hers.
