HOW TO GIVE
Everyone can make a gift online at lagunablanca.org or by cash or check received in-person or via mail. Your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. In addition to making a cash donation to the Laguna Fund, there are other creative ways for you to give back. Thank you for considering expanding your support to help make our work possible!
SECURITIES
You may achieve tax savings by making your gift via stocks or other capital assets. If you donate marketable securities, you may receive a charitable deduction for the full market value on the date of the transfer. Neither you nor Laguna Blanca will be required to pay capital gains tax on this type of gift. If you have securities that have decreased in value,
you may be able to take a deductible loss when you sell the stocks and donate the proceeds. To learn more about making donations of stock, please contact our development department at development@lagunablanca.org.
MATCHING GIFTS
Many corporations will match philanthropic donations made by their employees. This is a great way to maximize your gift. You could possibly double or even triple your dollars with a corporate match.
