Little Academies: K-Prep 3 and K-Prep 4 Creative Movement - Creative Xpressions Dance Academy is a Christian-based Dance Academy for children ages 3 and up. In this Creative Movement class, each child will have the opportunity to express themselves through a variety of activities and styles of dance. Dance helps children to increase interaction with their peers and learn about personal space. Children will also gain strength, coordination, and balance, while improving their overall well-being.

Instructor: Tamika Adkins, Creative Xpressions Dance Academy Mondays, 2:45-3:30 pm *No class on 2/19 due to Student Holiday Cost: $110 Little Karate Zoo - With the help of our Muscle Zoo friends, we teach the fundamentals of martial arts in this high-energy progression-based program. Students learn & practice the traditions & skills of the sport, and receive colored belts and stripes for their achievements. Hi-yah!

Instructor: Coach Gaston, Amazing Athletes Fridays, 2:45-3:30 pm *No class on 2/16 due to Student Holiday Cost: $110 Little Rhythm Makers - Join us as we welcome our first Music and Movement class! Music helps children of all ages discover their inner music-makers by playing and exploring sounds and expressing in our bodies those music elements we hear and sing. Little Rhythm makers will allow preschool students to expand their creativity, social skills, sense of self, sense of time and space, and even their intuition!

Instructor: Barbara De Freitas, Music Together instructor Tuesdays, 3:00-3:45 pm Cost: $110 Year-Round: Little Actors - A theater program focusing on building confidence, boosting communication skills, and fostering creativity. Each year, the children perform in a live production that family and friends are invited to attend. The children work together to create the program backdrop, costumes, and of course they are also the star in the show!

Instructor: Ms. Nina, UpSide Kids Wednesdays, 2:45-3:15 pm Cost: $215 for 10 classes, January 10th through March 13th Year-Round: Little Kickers - A preschool soccer clinic designed for those parents looking for a fun and non-competitive soccer-focused extracurricular activity to add to their little one’s schedule.

Clinics are delivered in an environment designed to ensure that kids have fun, but also learn skills along the way!

Instructor: Coach Mike, UpSide Kids Thursdays, 2:45-3:15 pm or 3:20-3:50 pm (for students in After School Care) Cost: $215 for 10 classes, January 11th through March 14th

The Academies: TK-5th Grades American Girl Doll - Our most popular specialty camp from 2023 is making an appearance in The Academies! This class is more than “playing with dolls!” Students will bake a yummy dessert, create an art masterpiece, study historical characters, perform some science experiments, and complete an engineering build during this STEAM-focused class. Join us for these educational classes filled with tea parties, games, storytelling, and plenty of fun and laughter.

Instructor: Abbie Nestler Thursdays, 2:50-3:50 pm Cost: $130 Ballet and Jazz Combo (Year-Round) - We are excited to continue our partnership with Xplosive Dance Academy! Xplosive Dance Academy provides a professional, artistic, and fun learning environment for all ages and levels. Your child will learn elements of both ballet and jazz to help improve their strength, flexibility, range of motion, coordination, and balance. Ballet and Jazz Combo class continues from January 16th through April 30th, and will end in a showcase for parents to attend.

Instructor: Abby Williamson, Xplosive Dance Academy Tuesdays, 4-5 pm Cost: $260/semester plus $30 showcase fee Ballet and Movement (Year-Round) - We are excited to continue our partnership with Xplosive Dance Academy! Beginner Golf is recommended for our younger students, or those who have not taken Golf lessons before.

Instructor: Coach Daniel, TGA Premier Golf Tuesdays, 2:50-3:50 pm Cost: $155 Ceramics - Session 3: ‘Jars of Clay’ Ceramics: “Slimy Friends” NEW PROJECTS! Per popular request, our theme for this session will be 'Slimy Friends' (fish, geckos, bugs). Students will explore hand building and glazing techniques to create 3 beautiful pieces. They will gain understanding of our walk with the Potter while working with the Clay, as well as witness the kiln firing process, relating it to the refining fire of the Holy Spirit. The session ends in a mini art showcase for parents and siblings to attend.

Instructor: Cynthia Collins Mondays, 2:50-3:50 pm *No class on 2/19 due to Student Holiday Cost: $130 Chess Club - Let's get excited about learning chess! Chess club will start with the basics of piece movements, checks, and checkmates. The class will engage students to think critically, while playing against fellow classmates and the teacher. By the end of the session, you can expect to play a full game of chess, regardless of their age or skill level. Breakout rooms enable students to receive custom content matching their skill level.

Instructor: Alex King, Virtual Instructor, Rookly Chess Wednesdays, 2:50-3:50 pm Cost: $160 Esports- Esports Club Orlando uses a STEM.org accredited curriculum developed by professionals in the esports, education, and technology industries to engage athletes through interactive structured lessons. Athletes will use communication skills to collaborate with teammates, participating in both on and off screen activities. They will also be introduced to careers within the esports world!

Instructor: Esports Club Orlando Fridays, 2:50-3:50 pm *No class on 2/19 due to Student Holiday Cost: $130 Fencing - Students will learn the exciting sport of fencing in this 6-week program. No equipment is needed - just come ready to learn and enjoy this unique sport! Fencing is open to students with and without fencing experience; students will be grouped by age and ability.

Flag Football League: Our Lower School Flag Football League is back! We are excited to continue partnering with other local schools for the spring. Practice will be held once per week at TFA on Mondays. Games will also be once per week, at rotating locations. Games will be mostly on Thursdays after school. More details on game times will follow closer to the start of the session. (Max. number of students depends on coaching availability) Instructors: Coaches are teams of parent volunteers, led by Chas Crofoot and Steve Hogan Monday Practices, 2:50-3:50 pm and Thursday late afternoon/evening games Cost: $160 Intermediate Golf - New Intermediate Golf is designed for those who have already taken Golf through The Academies at TFA. Lower School Golf combines athletic skill development activities, academic lessons related to sports, and life lessons in perseverance, sportsmanship, and leadership.

This 5-week session will focus on the exploration of different sports and games each week. Kids have the opportunity to develop skills and gain confidence while having fun! This is the perfect class for students to discover which sports they love!

Instructor: Tristan Davison Fridays, 2:50-3:50 pm *No Class on 2/16 due to Student Holiday Cost: $115 Lego Coding - Whether you are a novice or expert in LEGO Coding, this class is for you. We will have beginner coding using the Essential App and Hub. This will introduce the LEGO Coding system in an easy to understand format. Beginners will move through a series of 'builds' that will help them become experts in the LEGO coding system by the end of the six weeks. For students who understand and have used the LEGO Coding system in prior classes, you will continue to use the

Prime App and larger hub for advanced building opportunities. Both beginners and experts will be encouraged to create and code their own creations as well.

Instructor: Elaine Connell Thursdays, 2:50-3:50 pm Cost: $125 Lower School Choir (Year-Round) - Do you love to sing? Do you want to share your voice with others? If so, join the Lower School Choir and become a part of a musical family! The Lower School Choir is for students who have a passion for singing and learning new songs. You will meet one day a week (either Monday after school or Wednesday before school) with Mrs. Savage, the LS Music teacher, and practice your vocal skills and harmony. You will also have the chance to perform at various events throughout the school year and showcase your talent to your family and community.

The Lower School Choir is a fun and rewarding experience that will help you grow as a singer and a person. Cost: $175 Master Artists 2 - New Artists, New Masterpieces! Don't let the name fool you; this class is for artists of all skill levels! Get ready for 6 new artists to learn from. Each week we'll take a look at a different master artist and create art pieces based on their work. Class will be held in the US art room with Mrs. Moseler. The session ends in a mini art showcase for parents and siblings to attend.

Instructor: Kim Moseler Wednesdays, 2:50-3:50 pm Cost: $125 Royal Rising Stars - The Royal Rising Stars course will give your students the opportunity to see what it’s like to put on a stage production and to have their light shine bright on stage! They will master stage directions, blocking, and line memorization all while building confidence and having fun. Each class will include theater games, improv exercises and acting techniques. This course will culminate in a Royal Rising Stars Showcase at the end of Session 4.

Instructor: Melissa Davis Tuesdays, 2:50-3:50 pm Cost: $230 (Sessions 3 and 4)

Tech Production - The Tech Production Course provides students with the opportunity to know what it's like to be "behind the scenes" of a live production! They will get to use and learn about the audio and video equipment that is used, basic concepts for proper lighting and sound, create actual background music from scratch, and much more! The 6-week program in January culminates in a rehearsal production that is run entirely by the students themselves.

Instructor: ACE Music Academy Tuesdays, 2:50-3:50 pm Cost: $125 Tennis (ETA) - Tennis through Elite Tennis Academy will focus on learning and developing the fundamentals of tennis including groundstrokes, volleys, serves, footwork, scoring, and match play.

Each session will include individual instruction, group drills, fun games, and team and individual competitions. Players will need to wear athletic tennis shoes and bring water and a racket daily. All skill levels welcome.

Instructor: Coach Christofer, Elite Tennis Academy 4th-5th Grades: Saturdays, 8-9 am 2nd-3rd Grades: Saturdays, 9-10 am 1st Grade: Saturdays, 10-11 am TK/Kindergarten: Saturdays, 11-11:45 am Cost: $210 Tennis (TGA) - Our Academies Golf vendor, TGA, is now partnering with TFA to offer after school tennis lessons! In partnership with the United States Tennis Association (USTA), TGA has developed a program curriculum designed to develop the next generation of young players’ skills and passion for the game. TGA tennis clinics combine expert instruction and match play, providing kids of all ages and abilities an unforgettable experience and the opportunity to develop their love of the game. Tennis clinics are designed to help players hone and master the fundamental skills of the game including forehand, backhand, volley, and serve.

The Academies: Clinics (Various Ages) After School Acting Clinic - Come join Mrs. Debby Tapia from Maile Image, Modeling, and Acting School for these one-day classes! The school has been training since 1982! This hands-on, creative class includes work with acting, cold reads, commercials, and auditioning. Your student will quickly build confidence as they participate in the After School Acting clinic!

Instructor: Debby Tapia, Maile Image, Modeling, and Acting School Friday, January 12th, 2024, 2:50 - 4:15 pm Friday, March 8th, 2024, 2:50 - 4:15 pm Cost: $30/day Basketball Clinic (Co-ed)- Join Coach Chris Mayberry and Coach Kevin Hall, TFA Varsity Basketball Coaches, as players focus on the fundamentals of basketball, including shooting techniques, defensive techniques, passing, ball handling, and rebounding. Each day will include individual instruction along with team and individual competitions. Your child will improve their basketball skills and abilities in a competitive environment that features a daily spiritual emphasis. All skill levels are welcome. Tennis shoes are required.

Instructors: Chris Mayberry and Kevin Hall Dates: January 17-19, 2024 Wednesday through Friday, 3-4 pm Cost: $75 LS/MS Girls Basketball Clinic- Join Coach Kevin Hall, Girls Varsity Basketball Coach, as players focus on the fundamentals of basketball, including shooting techniques, defensive techniques, passing, ball handling, and rebounding. Each day will include individual instruction along with team and individual competitions. Your child will improve their basketball skills and abilities in a competitive environment that features a daily spiritual emphasis. All skill levels are welcome. Tennis shoes are required.

Instructor: Kevin Hall Dates: March 4-7, 2024 Monday through Thursday, 3-4 pm Cost: $100 Soccer Clinic 4: Finishing 2.0- Everything is Better in Two’s!- Join Coach Mark for the fourth of five soccer clinics this year! Each clinic will focus on a specific skill, to help develop players' skill set.

The Academies: Private Lessons (K-Prep 4 through 8th Grades) Music: Private Lessons - Ace Music Academy is here to help the youth of TFA achieve their musical goals! We offer a broad array of music classes in which we challenge our students to reach their full

musical potential. Our instructors teach these individual music classes using the teaching methods that best suit the student’s learning style and experience. Choose from the following instruments: piano, voice, guitar, violin, trumpet, saxophone, and more!

Instructors: Ace Music Academy Instructors Scheduling is completed after registration, based on student preference.

Cost: $35/30-minute lessons; $70/60-minute lessons Tennis: Private Lessons - Elite Tennis Academy is now offering private (one-on-one) tennis lessons to TFA Lower School students! Lessons are packaged in various formats. Please see the registration website for options.

Instructor: Elite Tennis Academy Scheduling is completed after registration, based on student preference.

Cost: $40/30-minute lessons; $75/60-minute lessons

Middle School Academies: 6th-8th Grades American Red Cross Babysitting - The purpose of this course is to provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care. In order to receive the end of course certification, students must attend all 6 classes.

This class does not include CPR. Recommended pairing this class with CPR & First Aid, which is also offered during Session 3. (15 students max.)

Instructor: Michelle Mason Tuesdays, 2:50-3:50 pm Cost: $160 American Red Cross CPR & First Aid- The American Red Cross CPR & First Aid program is designed to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The classes in this session teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person when minutes matter, and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Students must attend all sessions to obtain their certification.

Recommended pairing this class with American Red Cross Babysitting, which is also offered during Session 3. (15 students max.)
