The Academies: K-Prep 4 through 5th Grade 3D Printing - In this class we will be having fun while learning how to use Tinkercad to create 3D models that will be printed on our 3D printers. We're going to focus on making a game as well as creating other fun items during the class. Students will walk away with a 3D printed game that they designed and created as well as some other fun items that they have created and printed. It's going to be fun! Instructor: Kim Moseler, US Art Teacher Thursdays, 2:50-3:50 pm Cost: $155 Acting - Led by Mrs. Debby Tapia from Maile Image, Modeling, and Acting School, your child will learn hands-on, creative work with acting, cold reads, commercials, and auditioning. The school has


been training since 1982! Your student will quickly build confidence as they participate in the After School Acting class! Instructor: Debby Tapia, Maile Acting School Wednesdays, 2:50-4:00 pm, No class on 9/16 due to Parent-Teacher Conferences Cost: $120 Agility Academy - Agility Academy is an exciting and fun group for 1st to 5th graders, focused on boosting speed, quickness, and agility through playful drills and activities. Each session includes games and activities that improve footwork, coordination, and reaction time, helping young athletes grow their skills. Along with the physical fun, we’ll also gather for a short Bible devotion, where kids can learn valuable lessons about faith, teamwork, and perseverance. Agility Academy provides a positive, faith-filled environment where kids can stay active, have fun, and build both their athletic abilities and their relationship with God. Instructor: Hunter Bruce, Lower School Sports Coordinator Mondays, 2:50-3:50 pm, No class on 9/7 due to Labor Day Cost: $120 Ballet and Modern Dance - Students will learn the foundational principles of body movement and form. These are important aspects of ballet performance because ballet puts great emphasis on the method and execution of movement. The techniques found in classical ballet are a framework for many other styles of dance, including jazz and contemporary ballet. Students will also focus on alignment, or keeping the head, shoulders, and hips vertically aligned. Horton Technique Modern Dance has no style, per se. The technique emphasizes a whole body, anatomical approach to dance that includes flexibility, strength, coordination and body and spatial awareness to enable unrestricted, dramatic freedom of expression. Instructor: Jere' James-Snowden, Inez Patricia School of Dance Thursdays, 3:00-4:00 pm Monthly Cost: $120 Ballet (Year-Round) - We are excited to welcome back Miss Abby Williamson to lead The Academies Ballet classes this year! Miss Abby provides a professional, artistic, and fun learning environment for all ages and levels. Your child will learn elements of ballet to help improve their strength, flexibility, range of motion, coordination, and balance. Ballet and Movement class runs from August 24, 2026 through April 7, 2027, and will end in a showcase for parents to attend on April 7, 2027. Board Game Buddies - A fun after school class for TK-1st graders, where students get to explore and play a variety of board games! Each week, kids will try out different types of games, from simple matching and memory games to interactive adventure and strategy games, all designed to suit their age and abilities. The class encourages teamwork, problem-solving, and social skills as they play together, take turns, and enjoy learning new games. It's a great way for kids to bond, have fun, and discover the joy of board games! Instructor: Jill Pierce, Learning IE Teacher Mondays, 3:15-4:15 pm, No class on 9/7 due to Labor Day Cost: $120 Ceramics - It’s a Winter Wonderland! Students will explore hand building and glazing techniques to create a Ceramic Castle ‘Nite Lite’ with a Moat! They will gain understanding of our walk with the Potter while working with Clay, as well as witness the kiln firing process, relating it to the ‘refining fire’ of the Holy Spirit. We will discuss what Jesus said to comfort His friends before He went up into heaven. Instructor: Cynthia Collins Tuesdays, 2:50-3:50 pm Cost: $155 Cheerleading - Go Royals! Cheerleaders will develop their current skill set by learning proper motions and technique, jumps, cheers, dance, and basic stunt techniques. Those enrolled will be cheering at the LS Football Night and walking in the Homecoming Parade! Girls will receive a LS Cheer shirt, cheer bow, and set of pom poms to keep. Instructor: Adrienne Pilz, Varsity Cheerleading Coach Wednesdays, 2:50-3:50 pm Wednesday Classes - Week Session, 8/26/26 - 10/7/26, No Class on September 16th due to Parent-Teacher Conferences Cost: $210 (Includes Cheer Package) Futsal - D2 Futsal’s objective is to provide high-quality futsal training to children interested in improving their soccer skills while also having fun. Futsal is a dynamic form of soccer, highly recommended for both novice and experienced players who wish to enhance their abilities and game understanding. Their teaching methodology is based on ecological dynamics, where we focus on developing players' ability to read the game and improve their decision-making skills to effectively solve the challenges that arise during play. The importance of life values, teamwork, resilience, and discipline are emphasized in the program. Golf - Join Coach Daniel from the Brian Davis Golf Academy for a fun and encouraging introduction to golf! This class is perfect for students who are new to the sport and want to learn the basics in a supportive environment and experienced golf players. Each session will focus on developing fundamental skills like grip, stance, swing, and putting—all while building confidence and a love for the game. No prior experience needed! In this structured study hall, students work independently in a quiet, supportive environment. A certified teacher is available throughout the session to answer questions, explain challenging concepts, and offer reinforcement whenever needed. Students are welcome to bring a healthy snack to stay energized as they cross off their to-do list before heading home! In this fun and hands-on class, kids will explore the magic of combining art and cooking. Using edible materials, they’ll craft delicious masterpieces while learning to safely handle basic kitchen tools. It's a perfect blend of imagination and tasty fun—plus, they’ll get to enjoy their beautiful creations at the end! In this leveled program, students will be able to develop their skill set in principles of programming, including algorithms and logic, no matter what their knowledge base is. Monthly Cost: $72 Move & Grooves: Dance Fundamentals - This class introduces girls to the joy of dance through movement, music, and creativity. This class builds a strong foundation in ballet and jazz technique while developing coordination, flexibility, balance, rhythm, musicality, and self-confidence. Girls will learn the fundamentals of dance in a positive, engaging environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and self-expression. Through technique exercises, across-the-floor progressions, creative movement, and age-appropriate choreography, dancers will strengthen both their technical skills and their love for the performing arts. Whether they are taking their very first dance class or continuing their dance journey, students will gain the confidence and foundational skills needed to grow as young artists. In this class you will learn about the history of the Steel Drums and learn to play the steel drums and percussion instruments involved in this awesome musical experience! No prior experience is needed to join this class, and all materials will be provided for you. Come and join in the fun and make some incredible music in the Pan-Cats Steel Drum Band. Instructor: Rob Platter, US Band Teacher Tuesdays, 3:00-4:00 pm Cost: $140 S.T.E.A.M Extreme - Do you like to create and build things? S.T.E.A.M. combines Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through hands-on learning experiences to solve real life challenges. Cost: $155 Oinky’s Bend and Play - Join “Oinky” and Miss Stav for a healthy exercise and mind-body movement class designed for energetic kids who won’t need to sit still! Kids move, play, breathe, focus, and learn to regulate big feelings through kid-friendly yoga, breathing techniques, imaginative movement, puppets, sensory jars, emotional regulation skills, calming activities, and relaxing rest time. Wiggly, energetic, curious, and spirited kids are welcome here! Students develop their abilities while gaining a deeper understanding of the game. Beginners will learn the basics: drives, serving, volleys, dinks, and scoring through exciting games that build coordination and confidence. Advanced players will sharpen their technique, improve footwork, and apply strategy in fast-paced match play, developing a deeper understanding and love for the game. Instructor: Discipline Rift Sports & Athletics Fridays, 2:50-3:50 Cost: $180 Robotics Club - VEX GO: Engineering Fun for Young Innovators! VEX GO is an exciting, hands-on STEM program designed for elementary school students in after-school academies. This construction system introduces the fundamentals of engineering, coding, and problem-solving through engaging, collaborative activities. With easy-to-use snap-together pieces and interactive challenges, VEX GO helps young learners build confidence in STEM while fostering creativity, teamwork, and a love for innovation! From traditional favorites to new and exciting activities, students will have the opportunity to try something different each week while discovering the sports they enjoy most! Instructor: Athletes Global Mondays: K4-K 2:50-3:50 pm, No class on 9/7 due to Labor Day Fridays: 1st-2nd 2:50-3:50 pm Cost - Mondays: $190; Fridays: $230 Tennis - Tennis will focus on learning and developing the fundamentals of tennis including groundstrokes, volleys, serves, footwork, scoring, and match play. Each session will include individual instruction, group drills, fun games, and team and individual competitions. Players will need to wear athletic tennis shoes and bring water and a racket daily. Mondays: 2nd-5th 2:50-3:50 pm Cost: $150 Training Team Volleyball - The TFA Volleyball Program is excited to offer a Training Team for students in 4th-7th grade. This training team will be run by coaches from TFA’s volleyball program, and the goal is to build fundamentals while also understand and be a part of the TFA Volleyball program culture. No experience is required! This is a great opportunity to get to know coaches, learn skills and drills that our high school teams use, and grow in the sport! Players will have an opportunity to purchase TFA volleyball practice shirts and attire from our volleyball store online that is shipped in 5-7 business days to your house! The Academies: Session 1 Clinics (K-Prep 4 through 5th Grade) First Fridays Lacrosse (Open to 3rd - 8th Graders) - Join Varsity Coach Reed Reynolds for one hour on the first Friday of each month to sharpen your lacrosse skills. Come for just as many weeks as you can - or all five sessions! All skill levels are welcome and no equipment is needed. First Fridays Lacrosse is held on the Lower School field. The Academies: Private Lessons Art: Private Lessons - We are excited to offer private art lessons with Mrs. Moseler! Whether you want to learn to throw a pot on the Potter's Wheel, or make coil, slab, or pinch sculptures, you will find some fun with clay. Or maybe you need help assembling a portfolio for a job or college interview, learn how to show off your work! After registration, Mrs. Collins will be in contact with you to set up a time that is convenient for both of your schedules. They offer a broad array of music classes in which they challenge our students to reach their full musical potential. Our instructors teach these individual music classes using the teaching methods that best suit the student’s learning style and experience.
