Museum of Toys

The studio aimed at developing a museum complex in Bangalore in order to understand the (thematic) abstract character of architecture (symbolism, aesthetics, identity) in the public domain; influence of socio-cultural, economic dimensions and user perception. The museum is located on a 3 acre parcel of land and designed to handle a traffic of 1000 footfall daily.

The existing Jnanai Bharathi, Bangalore University Campus lacked a department of design. Students were asked to create an ‘identity’ to the existing campus by tackling challenges like levels, surrounding ecology, bye-laws, functional spaces or zones and site approach.

The studio aimed at understanding what it means to dwell in a space/s and to further explore as to why and how people choose to dwell together.
The site is a 5 acre area of land, packed in an urban fabric with a context of lake in one of it’s cardinal direction.
Typologies explored in this project includes multi-storey clusters and row houses.

Hotel Lobby Interior Design

The brief was to design a lobby space for a 5-star business hotel. The lobby space was required to be divided into different programs to facilitate multi utility option for the visitors. The design aimed at reflecting the architectural grammar involved in the creation of interior pockets. Style adopted for this project is in terms of modern day trend and reflects upon mid-century style.

Heritage Documentation

This particular heritage documentation of Melkote town has won the COA Heritage Documentation Award in Karnataka region. It was executed during the second semester of the course and it was possible due to the combined efforts of the whole batch.
The town was studied in order to understand the functioning of a historic town and to execute a residential project as a part of the design studio.

A 5BHK house is getting executed on a 50x80 feet plot in Hosur, Tamil Nadu for Mr. Vijay Krishna. I was commissioned to prepared the interior elevation drawings for living rooms on three floors, two bedrooms and one office room.
The project is currently in its execution phase.

Apart from architecture, my interest lies in digital illustrations, graphic design, product design, sketching and photography.
