STATE AND FEDERAL REPORTING Compared to last week slaughter lambs were 1.00 – 9.00 lower and feeder lambs were steady Slaughter ewes and bucks were steady. In goats, slaughter kids were 9.00 lower and slaughter nannies were steady.

Slaughter billies and wethers were steady. Trade activity and buyer demand was good. The sheep supply consisted of approximately 26 percent slaughter lambs and 16 percent feeder lambs with the balance being slaughter ewes and bucks, bottle lambs. The goat supply consisted of approximately 70 percent slaughter kids, 22 percent slaughter nannies/does with the balance being slaughter billies and wethers. Bum lambs traded 6.00 – 15.00 per head. Sheep and lambs sold on a per cwt basis and goats sold on a per head basis unless otherwise noted.
