STATE AND FERERAL REPORTING Compared to last week slaughter lambs traded sharply lower. Feeder lambs traded 10.00 lower. Slaughter ewes traded 2.00 lower and bucks were steady. In goats, slaughter kids traded sharply lower. Slaughter nannies, billies and wethers were steady. Trade activity and buyer demand was moderate to good. The sheep supply consisted of approximately 31 percent slaughter lambs, 11 percent feeder lambs with the balance being slaughter ewes and bucks. The goat supply consisted of approximately 60 percent slaughter kids, 28 percent slaughter nannies/does with the balance being slaughter billies and wethers. Sheep and lambs sold on a per cwt basis and goats sold on a per head basis unless otherwise noted.
