There is a slight time delay in the action, so for any live bidding you will also need to make arrangements with the Mobridge Livestock Market far enough in advance. ADDITIONAL SALE INFORMATION Visitors welcome at the ranches, advance calls appreciated. Pictures of the horses in the sale were taken in July. Weanlings will have been caught and handled, and a halter will be given with every horse sold. SALE TERMS
The highest bidder is to be the buyer. If any dispute arises between two bidders, sole authority to settle the dispute as he sees fit is reserved by the auctioneer, and his decision shall be final. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Terms of the sale are cash; personal checks are considered cash. All Canadian buyers must pay in U.S. funds or equivalent. Horses are at the buyer’s expense, risk, and responsibility from the time of purchase, but no delivery will be made until final settlement has been made. The buyer must make arrangements for the care of his horse if it is not taken on sale day. All registration papers will be held by the sellers until all checks clear the bank, normally about two weeks. At such time, they along with the transfer forms and fees, will be mailed to AQHA for transfer to the
new owners. Buyers will be charged the $25 transfer fee on the Quarter Horses, and this will be added to the purchase price. If they are not a current member of AQHA, they will be billed another $25 membership fee by AQHA before papers are returned. If any buyers wish to obtain papers on sale day, they must pay in cash or certified check. Health certificates will be issued for transportation purposes sale day on request by Oahe Veterinary Clinic. Horses will all be Coggins tested. Brand clearance available. Every effort has been made to insure the correctness of the catalog, but sellers assume no responsibility for errors or omissions. All persons attending the sale do so at their own risk. The sale barn and owners assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that may occur.

was an up-to-the-task stud. We used him on the ranch for doctoring cattle, sorting pairs, trailing cattle, and whatever else needed doing. He carried a lot of Driftwood and a bit of Lucky Blanton in his pedigree. His sire was an excellent calf roping horse and his dam has produced excellent riders. We are sad to say that we lost Rawhide Blantonwood to a breeding injury 2 weeks after being turned in with his mares, so this could be his last foal crop as we do not know how many mares he settled in the two weeks. I would like to thank Dylan and Ava Brokaw for allowing us to use their stud Berry Bristol Boon for the rest of the season.

aywood is the ideal all around horse. 15 hands tall, 1150 lb., just the right size for any and all events and any job on the ranch too. We have headed and healed on Paywood and have run barrels on him, as well as calved cows with him, doctored on him, and about anything else you could think of as well. He has a great disposition, very cowy, athletic, good foot and bone on him, is very smooth to ride, and has lots of speed! His colts learn quick and are very athletic animals! They are proving to be good both in the arena and on the ranch.

Lot 40 2018 BUCKSKIN FILLY This filly will be a joy to ride just like her siblings that we own. My Dad rides a half brother to this filly out of the same mare. He has become his main ranch horse that he can do anything on and is a very quiet, and enjoys using him at different ranch rodeos. We also enjoy riding this fillies half sister on the ranch and in the arena on the barrel pattern. We love all of this mares colts, they have good minds and are very athletic.
