What did we like about this movie?

To be honest, it kind of just worked. It was funny when it was meant to be, serious lots of the time, and there were a few legit scary themes. The ending is also profound. I think this movie is just chock full of metaphors that, added together, create the greater theme of free will and the question of if it is possible for robots to develop souls that should be treated like those of humans. Such a complex theme hasn’t been examined in flm since “Blade Runner” in 1982.

“M3GAN” may be memeworthy, but it’s actually pretty great. It’s the kind of flm you think about after you walk out of the theater. If you’re looking for a fairly gore-free, funny, and timely horror flm, this one is for you.
