The Art of Art Therapy show made its debut at the THRIVE Wellness Center. The artwork is selected from all of the work created during the previous year’s Art Therapy sessions. This training promotes the care, welfare, safety and security for staff and patients who may be involved in a crisis situation. This all-day course teaches a range of preventative strategies, de-escalation and communication skills. You'll also learn psychological and physiological responses that will minimize the potential harm of disruptive, aggressive behavior. Trainings take place from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. in the Evergreen Commons Sanctuary. Contact Jocelyn Leising, Employee Engagement Specialist, to register. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention will be offered 4 times this year: March 7, June 20, September 19 and December 12.
