On a positive note for the Club and as previously reported was the purchase of 51 Rawson Street, which places us in excellent stead in future growth and opportunities. As in previous years, your Club has continued its support for the wider community by donating to relevant charities, associations, groups and schools. I am exceedingly proud of our ongoing work with Karonga School which included the immersive classroom project. We have also appointed new ClubGrants recipients including Jade’s Dog Rescue, Foster Care Angels and Youth InSearch and look forward to seeing what they will achieve with our support. It’s hard to believe we’re headed towards the end of the year once again, but the good news is that this is often a rich time for many with family and friends. Rawsons is an ideal place to catch up during this period and our five-star Christmas Luncheon is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy December 25 in stress free style. Of course, there’s also fabulous prizes to be won and many other exciting activities you can get involved in. On behalf of The Board of Directors and our Management Team, we hope to see you at your Club over the coming months enjoying the many events on offer.

President’s Report
The Annual Report will be available for viewing on the Club’s website and you will find the required notice of the Annual General Meeting and relevant information in this issue. The 2022 financial year has been a difficult trading period due to mandatory Covid-19 lockdown for the months of July, August and September (2021), with a slow uptake after re-opening. We were able to achieve a net trading profit of $2,873,656 and after depreciation provision and interest a net profit of $259,014 was achieved. A pleasing result after our previously estimated loss forecast.

Note: To ensure accurate information is given, any member with specific enquiries regarding the Financial Report is requested to supply them in writing no later than seven (7) days prior to the meeting.
• To transact any other business that may be brought forward in conformity with the Constitution. As a result of changes to the Corporations Act, the requirements for registered Clubs producing financial reports has changed. The Club will still be producing an Annual Report and this will be displayed on the Club’s website and distributed electronically or in hard copy if requested. If you wish to receive this report electronically or in hard copy, please contact the club.

Members voted last year to approve Honorariums and we ask that they be approved for this coming year. The duties of the Directors have become more onerous with the continuing increase in the Club’s performance, financial or otherwise as reflected in the financial accounts and director reports which accompany this Notice.
