Operation Roundup Grants
The Energy Cooperative’s Operation Round Up Foundation awarded $57,142 to the following community organizations in June.
• Beechwood Trails Park & Pool toward repairs and renovation • The Salvation Army in Newark toward a freezer and lift truck • Abbot Senior Living for computers
• OSU Extension Knox Co. for a children’s activity area at 4-H booth
• Licking County Coalition of Housing for washers and dryers
• New Hope Lutheran Church for school supplies for their festival
• Maysville Elementary for supplies for math program
• Homer Public Library toward new lighting and fixtures
• Hospice of Knox County for patient lock boxes
• Buckeye Lake Village Fire Department toward firefighter gear
• Licking Township Fire Department to upgrade cardiac monitor
• Twin Oak Elementary Library for books
• Horns Hill Trail Fund toward revitalization of park and trails Behavioral Health Partners of Central Ohio, Inc. toward flooring for renovation Together We Grow, Inc. toward materials for a new project.
The Operation Roundup Foundation also made a donation to food pantries in Licking, Knox and Muskingum counties.
