Message from the Chief Administrative Officer Dear Class of 2013, I know you have heard it a hundred times by now, but congratulations, again, on a wonderful year. You will always be a special class for me – my one and only graduating class as Principal of Our Lady of the Elms High School. Every day was exciting, from September’s Freshman Welcome Week with the freshies singing to the tune of New York, New York every time we turned around, to your beautiful graduation on June 7th. Mrs. Fippin’s speech touched all of our hearts, and I know it was extra meaningful to all of you. Now is the time for you to soar into the future – and I know you have heard that just a couple of times since graduation. But it is true. You are a great class and we expect great things from you. Look at all the colleges and universities where you have been accepted – MIT, Georgetown, John Carroll, George Washington, Walsh University, The University of Akron, The Ohio State University and Xavier University – just to name a few. And it is also true that before you know it, you will be coming back to the Elms for Yearbook signing when you are home for Christmas break, and to see Mr. Jacoby and Mr. Darkow, of course. Please know that you are always welcome to visit. Come back often – you will forever be an Elms girl. Sincerely,
