From the Chief's Desk

In this week’s article, I want to talk about Community Policing. Community policing is a collaboration between the Police and the community. It helps identify and solve community problems. With Law Enforcement’s duties constantly expanding and changing, all members of our community become allies in the effort to enhance the safety and quality of neighborhoods, streets, businesses and our schools. In other words, we need your help!

We are a small Police Dept. with big responsibilities. In addition to our citizens that live in the Town Limits, we have thousands of visitors a day, either passing through or visiting our businesses that we are also responsible for. We need your eyes and ears to help keep us in the loop with solving any current and potential problems. Most citizens do a great job already working with us, but we could use more help. Thank you.
