G.A.I.N. 2015 Mesa is celebrating its 19th Annual G.A.I.N. (Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods) on Saturday, November 5, 2016, from 4-8 pm. G.A.I.N. is an annual event designed to unite communities to help create safer neighborhoods. Formerly known as National Night Out, G.A.I.N. encourages residents to get together in their respective communities to promote safety, neighborhood communication and celebrate the successes of crime prevention through community involvement. Neighborhood watch groups, HOAs, multi-housing communities and businesses throughout Mesa will be holding a G.A.I.N. event. Members of the Police and Fire departments, City Council and other city departments will be visiting events, meeting the neighbors and partaking in their festivities. The Mesa Police Department invites every Neighborhood Watch, homeowners’ association, multi-housing and mobile home community to participate. The registration form and information packet for G.A.I.N. can be found online at: www.mesaz.gov/police/gain Registration deadline is October 14, 2016 to be placed on the visitation list.
START A NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH Since 1972, neighborhoods have partnered with the local law enforcement agencies to work together in solving community issues and deterring criminal activity.
