NEW PROJECTS FOR THE NEW YEAR Start the new year off right by doing some home improvements that will not only give you peace of mind, but help keep you and your family safer. With tax season approaching, con artists try to bilk victims pretending to be from the IRS. The IRS will NEVER: 1. Call to demand immediate payment on taxes owed without first mailing you a bill 2. Demand you pay taxes without giving you the opportunity to question or appeal the amount they say you owe. 3. Require you to use a specific payment method, such as a prepaid credit card 4. Ask for credit or debit card numbers over the phone 5. Threaten to bring in the local
