TLPL 101, 1 cr: 2 school visits: Observe & teach one science or math lesson in a local elementary school classroom TLPL 286, 3 cr: 3 school visits: Observe and teach two science or math lessons on a local middle school; Strong emphasis on social justice issues in public schools Additional information for both courses: • Schools accessible by the UMD shuttle bus or Metro bus • No permission code, application, or pre-requisites needed to enroll • Opportunity to earn a $150 scholarship
