Micheldever & Stratton Pre School

New Opportunities What a term it has been! We have been so lucky to now be settled in our new setting at The Warren Centre in Micheldever Station. We are so very lucky that we now get to not only open longer hours from 8.30am – 4.30pm, but that we have such a beautiful setting to run from and be a part of the community which we want to expand upon. There will be some new and exciting opportunities for the wider community to join us, so please do keep an eye on our Facebook page.

We have also been super lucky to welcome some new faces, children and a new staff member - Andrea. We will be inviting staff to share some of their likes and dislikes with you all on our website and Facebook page. We are so fortunate to have such caring, kind, compassionate and highly experienced and qualified staff. We know the children and their families really value this and we would love to welcome some new children and families to join our lovely preschool family unit.

Next term we will be looking at our topic of ‘Changes’. We will be visiting the Christmas market in Winchester, celebrating Bonfire Night, having visitors from the local community police, nurses and hopefully even the local fire service too. We will be exploring the changes in the woods during our Forest Activity sessions, where the children can explore in finer detail what impact Autumn can have on the world around them. This is also important as we look at the different types of winter vegetables grown in the UK that we have been exploring.
