objective design a 90,000 sq ft office in Tempe, Arizona for Sonja Bochart including workstations, offices, conference rooms, a kitchen and cafe, work labs, collaboration spaces, a break room, an assembly space, a materials library, a yoga studio, a gym, childcare services, a spa, a meditation space, and retail and gallery space. consider the community while designing and provide an authentic and biophilic driven design.

endurance | flexibility | adaptability | essence of joy | enthusiasm the hummingbird travels over 5,000 miles each way during it’s migration from central american into north america. it returns to the same gardens year after year. it lives on nectar and has an incredible amount of energy. the fast motion of the hummingbird wings can create an infinity symbol. it can fly in all directions - up, down, side to side, backwards, forwards.

much of the ceiling is left exposed and utilizes skylights. linears work as the field lighting and pendants are soft perimeter lighting aid other spaces. an acrylic panel is used above collaboration zones and wood overhangs are used in reception and eateries. angled felt baffles are used in conference spaces. the MARS Logix system acts as typical ACT.
