buddy all-in-one solution for kids dealing with type 1 diabetes
Maddy is 10 years old and has been recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. the diagnosis is very overwhelming, and she is currently looking for a treatment method with her parents. Unfortunately, the treatment options available to Maddy have presented some issues. these are some issues with current type 1 diabetes treatment methods:
too many dierent devices
outdated & confusing
no way to customize, not kid-friendly
buddy features insulin administering pod
handheld device- controls pod
customizable colors

remove pod from the dock when ready to use
remove device from dock
place pod in exible disposable backing
track carb intake throughout day
remove adhesive strip & adhere to arm
place device & pod in dock to charge at night

handheld device allows child to track carbs & control insulin pod
insulin pod administers insulin throughout the day, balances blood sugar
dock charges device & pod, lights up overnight to alert blood sugar changes
