Excessive daytime sleepiness associated with narcolepsy? Being sleepy throughout the day is more than just a nuisance, it’s a heavy burden. If you’re narcoleptic and routinely find yourself feeling really sleepy during the day, you might suffer from Excessive Daytime Sleepiness, or EDS. We’re undertaking a research study of an investigational drug therapy for EDS associated with narcolepsy. To qualify for this study, you must: • be between the ages of 18 and 55 • be in generally good health • have experienced excessive sleepiness in connection with a narcolepsy diagnosis • not currently be diagnosed with a sleep disorder other than narcolepsy Women who are able to become pregnant must use a medically acceptable method of birth control for the duration of the study. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are ineligible for the study.
