n Friday, ptember 16th, I ok 22 Upper hool students to sit the University South Carolina.
e began the day th an formation session
where we learned some exciting facts about USC such as their top five majors for first-year students: International Business, Nursing, Psychology, Biology, and Undecided.
Afterward, we toured the campus and explored some highlights. The dining hall impressed us all, featuring options like Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, and Panera (I think we know where everyone will be eating!). We also had the chance to October 8, 2025
step inside a classroom in the Communications building. Sitting in the swivel desks, I could already imagine the engaging discussions to come. We even learned about University 101, a popular first-year course that helps students transition to college life our tour guide said it even taught them how to do laundry! USC is the second most popular college that our seniors apply to, making it a fantastic in-state option. Students can also apply their South Carolina scholarships here check the qualifications to see if you’re eligible. Don’t forget: the Early Action deadline is October 15th. Seniors, be sure to submit your applications on time, and underclassmen, keep USC in mind as you start your own college search!
