Winchester, Frank Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Creedan Valley Nursing Home in his 82nd year. Frank, loved and loving husband of the late Gwen and proud father of Nancy Winchester, Jenni Demanuele (Dave), and the late Jeff. Forever cherished by his granddaughter Emily. Survived by his sister May Johnston, many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his brothers George, Maurice and Wesley and sister Effie Rowbotham. Pauline Orr (nee Shea)
September 8, 1924 – October 3, 2015
Born in Westmount, Quebec. Daughter of Maurice P. and Frances Shea, beloved wife of Allan V. Orr, second mother to Nancy of Montreal, Kathy Bollero (John) of Palm Beach, Florida and Ross (“Buck”) (Marilyn) of Toronto. Loving Nana to Nathalie, David, Philip and Mimi Gaucher Alessandra and Matt Bollero, Stewart, Christopher and Meredith Orr. Predeceased by brothers Maurice, Kevin and Brian Shea. Pauline was a gracious, giving and respected lady who will be sorely missed by those that had the opportunity to know her. She was a tireless volunteer for many groups over the past 60 years including the May Court (St. Kitts), the Children’s Hospital (St. Kitts), Sick Kids Hospital, the Toronto Symphony and the Ridley College Women’s Guild. Pauline spent 25 years with Air Canada in Montreal as a Travel Consultant. She and Al spent their retirement winter years in Boynton Beach, Florida and summer years at the family farm, Hawbry Hill, in the Mulmur Hills near Creemore, ON. They travelled extensively and enjoyed skiing and curling with their Scottish friends in Stranraer, Scotland.
A private family service was held with a Memorial Service to follow in due course. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Allan V. Orr bursary at Ridley College in St. Catharines would be greatly appreciated at advancement.ridleycollege.com/ makeagift. A special thanks to the staff at the Bradgate Arms for their caring help especially over the past 3 years.
