Thank you to artist Peter Adams for receiving the Dufferin Arts Council Reed T. Cooper Bursary on an abandoned old farm house on the Second Line of Mulmur, near the Nottawasaga Town Line. It is known as the Leighton House.

This is where the late Keith Leighton and his wife Gretta, started their married life in 1949. Peter Adams presented a showing of his paintings and photographs from September 12 to November 14. It was amazing the amount of people who filed through the Museum to capture this wonderful work. We were all overwhelmed by the paintings and story of this old house and our home.

The family of Harold Meek would like to thank their relatives, friends and neighbours for the food, flowers, cards, phone calls, inquiries, visits and moral support during his illness and since his passing. We are grateful for the compassion shown to us by all of you. A special thank you to Dr. Houston and the nursing staff in surgical wing at C.G.M.H. for their excellent care.

Eleanor, Len and Shasta Knox Presbyterian Church and the community of Dunedin wish to thank everyone for helping to make our “10Mile Dinner” such a memorable social event. To the organizers, all who helped prepare food, to our youth for doing such an elegant task of serving, and to all who enjoyed the meal and entertainment, a huge thank you. Hutchinson, Keith A. After a lengthy illness passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010. Will be missed by his special friend Ruth and her daughter Nicole Bojtos and her husband George.

Dear brother of Rita Ritchie and Irene Cole and her husband Bruce. Father of Susan Darch (Harold) and Gary (Cheryl). Grandfather to Rob, Patty, Thomas, Bradley and Dustin. Great grandfather to Connor and Carson. Very dear friend of Orley and Linda Dunstan.

Survived also by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister Ruby Harrison and one brother Morris.
