McGillivray, Christena passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Stevenson Memorial Hospital in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband Donal, daughter Sharon Sparling and one grandchild, Christena will be remembered by her sons Wayne (Marylou) and Stephen (Denise), daughters Jo-Ann Langman, Linda (Don) Prentice, Marlene (Doug) Maxwell and son-in-law David Sparling. Forever cherished by 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Christena is survived by her sister Grace; predeceased by brothers Lloyd, Albert, Bob and Norman Montgomery and sister Elizabeth. Visitation was held at Fawcett Funeral Home – Creemore Chapel on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service took place in the chapel at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2015. Interment at Stayner Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Stevenson Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family. PLANNED POWER OUTAGE FOR THE VILLAGE OF CREEMORE SUNDAY AUGUST 30, 2015 Hydro One has advised Collus PowerStream that a planned power outage has been scheduled between the hours of 06:00am and 10:00am on Sunday August 30th, 2015 to facilitate the safe repair to the M2 itself in 15 work locations to increase circuit reliability, and to install a new pole into the 44KV circuit. Should the weather be inclement the outage will be rescheduled for Sunday September 13th, 2015 at the same time indicated above. This outage will involve specific Collus PowerStream customers located in the Village of Creemore. (See image below)
