death notice Pledger, Ernest ‘Ernie’ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Veterans Centre, Sunnybrook Hospital in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Edna. Father of John (Janet), David (Sharon) and Linda Pledger. Forever cherished grandfather of Aaron (Ashley), Simon, Christian (Mallory), Benjamin, Jonathon, Jessica (Randy) and Joshua (Aiza); great grandfather of Noah, Ella, Aidan, Olivia, Emily, Elsa and Logan. Ernie is predeceased by his brother Walter. A lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 397 Creemore; Ernie will be remembered for his service and dedication to his community. Visitation was held at Fawcett Funeral Home - Creemore Chapel on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Funeral service took place on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at St. Luke’s Anglican Church.
