The Solid State manufactures claim that their batteries can perform better on the road, they take less time to charge, and they're cheaper. Recently some major car makers have mentioned that they are planning to release cars with solid state batteries in 2021. RECAP Electric Vehicles (EV) are currently the leaders in the auto industry, and even though a new technology may eventually replace them, it will take years to build up the infrastructure. So in the short term, it's safe to say that EV's are low risk, low reward investment. Several major nations have mentioned that they'll be investing in huge projects, in order to produce Hydrogen Fuel. So whether Hydrogen is the best option or not, we'll see a significant increase in funding, and opportunities in this space. Solid-State batteries are the wild card, because they claim that they are better and cheaper than EV's. So if they're right, we can see solid state batteries dominate the auto industry, while investors reap huge rewards.
