Princesshay’s Christmas entertainment is unmissable. We’re spoiling you rotten with our brand new Christmas lights, laying on a light-up stag in Princesshay Square, a throne for selfies in Blueboy Square and a giant walk-through present in the mall. Our diamond-themed Christmas lights, draped in tasteful waves and curtains, decorate the shops to brighten up late-night shopping. What’s more, the annual Charity Christmas Tree Festival is a wonder to behold. Find it on Roman Walk, where a line-up of trees decorated by local charities, awaits. You’ll also be pleased to hear that the Spark! drummers are back by popular demand, to add music and drama.

Thursday 21st November The Diamond is in Princesshay Square at 5pm, 6pm & 7pm. This is a stunning solo aerial dance inside an inflatable colourchanging dome.
21st November: The impressive Diamond aerial performance kicks off our Christmas events
Thursday 28th November Winter Statues are in Princesshay Square at 5pm, 6pm & 7pm, plus the Snow Globe is out and about. Winter Statues bring you a spellbinding dance, performed on a plinth, while the enchanting Snow Queen passes by in her Snow Globe, captivating children and adults alike. Thursday 5th December Spark! is back for the third-year running. Performances throughout the centre at 5pm, 6pm & 7pm. Spark! is a mesmerising street theatre show that combines high-impact drumming with kaleidoscopic lighting. Thursday 12th December Oyster Opera’s Snow Queen and King performing 30-minute sets at 5pm, 6pm & 7pm, starting on stage, then interacting with visitors. The beautiful, singing Snow Queen is joined by her Snow King on a sleigh. Come and get your photo taken with them.

Thursday 19th December Calvos Lux and Glitter Belles roam throughout the centre at 5pm, 6pm & 7pm. The Glitter Belles characters create a stir in light-filled, glittering outfits, while jugglers Calvos Lux light up the streets with their LED-embedded costumes.
28th November: The mystical Snow Queen is caught in a snow blizzard inside her globe. Come and give her a wave!
