Tour de OROC peloton welcomed to Cobar

The riders and support crew on this year’s Tour de OROC charity bike ride passed through Cobar last week and were given a small welcome reception at Drummond Park on Thursday afternoon. Among the riders were Cobar’s Trudy Griffiths and former Cobar residents Chris Freeman (who now lives in Mudgee) and Stuart Harland (from Dubbo). This year’s event raised almost $150,000 for the Macquarie Home Stay accommodation facility in Dubbo. See Page 3 for full report.
