Cobar was all revved up for ROEF2022
It seems the sequel may have been better than the original with Running On Empty Festival 2022 proving to be a bigger hit than Cobar’s first ROEF event in 2018. Festival organiser, John de Bruin, is pictured above with Paul Vella and Tim Wales at the grand unveiling of Paul’s magnificently restored Blown 57 Chevy Tribute car which was one of the surprises at Thursday’s Cocktail Night at the Cobar Bowling & Golf Club. At right are photos from Saturday’s Show ‘n’ Shine event organised by the Cobar Dust Bowl Fuel Burners Club with local Brad Kendrick with Australian actor, Terry Serio, who played the lead in Running On Empty released in 1982 at centre. See pages 2, 23 & 24 for more photos and a report from the event.
