Strong support shown for Anzac Day services

The Anzac Day spirit is alive and well in Cobar with hundreds of residents and visitors attending the dawn service, street march, the service in Drummond Park and the service at the Lilliane Brady Village retirement home on Monday. This year’s march was led by Commodore Ray Leggatt from the Australian Navy Chief of Staff, returned servicemen, Cadets from Cobar 221 Army Cadet Unit and Legacy widows. Also marching were representatives of Cobar’s emergency services, the three schools, local service clubs, the Cobar Rugby Union Football Club and the Cobar Pony Club.
