Warm Cobar welcome for Tour de OROC

Participants were blown away by the warm welcome at the end of their final, and longest, leg of the Tour de OROC from Bourke to Cobar on Saturday. The charity ride raises money for Macquarie Home Stay, a facility much appreciated by the Cobar community. Local business owner Trudy Griffiths once again took part in this year’s ride. Trudy was joined by locals Isaac Theakston, Greg McKervey and Parker Cryer for the final stretch of the ride. See page 4 for our report on the ride, and the success of her fundraising.
