deployed all around the world. My deepest appreciation goes to our amazing faculty and staff that dedicate so much of their time to ensure all of our students get the opportunity for a high quality education. For your hard work, I want you to know that I am profoundly grateful. As this year comes to a close, let us take time to promote the common themes found in so many holiday songs: love,

peace, joy, and hope. Let us find a determined resolution to work towards building a future where all people live in harmony, where all children can discover their hopes and dreams, and where our aspirations for freedom and peace finally become a reality throughout the world. Warmest wishes and a very happy holiday,

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone in Dare County a Christmas holiday that is fi lled with happiness, cheer, and love. As we enjoy this special season with family and friends, it is my hope that

each of us will honor the true meaning of Christmas by finding ways to bring happiness to others. If every day could be Christmas, what a different and wonderful world this would be. It is my hope that amidst all the decorations and delicious treats that surround us during

this holiday season, you will find time to celebrate the wonder and majesty of Christmas with your family. Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year.

Christmas Greetings To All Residents of The Town of Columbia and our extended Tyrrell County Family

This Christmas I hope we will all take the time to reflect on what is really important in our lives and especially celebrate not only the very special gift of love and salvation we were given some two thousand years ago, but also the gift of family, friends and community we enjoy today! We too often, at Christmas, get overwhelmed with the

commercial aspects of the season and unfortunately neglect to recognize what is really important in our lives. This year, my wish is that we all take the time and reflect on just how blessed we are to have our families with us and that we make the effort to tell each member how much they are loved and appreciated! My wife, Kathy, and I both lost our mothers this past year and that leaves a huge hole in our hearts. But, we have

found that being together as family brings a healing that soothes us and makes us grateful for the years we were able to celebrate Christmas with them. So, as we go into this Christmas season let’s remember to be kind, to be generous, to love one another, to look after each other and to bring a little joy into the lives of each person we meet! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

To all the readers of The Coastland Times, we wish you a Merry Christmas and the happiest of holidays! The season causes us to once again reflect on how truly special this community is and how grateful we are

to be able to share it with guests. From the crab pot Christmas tree lighting in Duck to the holiday parade in Hatteras Village and all points in between, the Outer Banks has a way of celebrating the season that's not

quite like anywhere else. And we wouldn't have it any other way. Seasons Greetings from the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau!

Dare County Families and Friends,

I would like to wish you a joyous holiday season. This time of year presents us with the opportunity to share tidings of peace and love with our families and our neighbors. It is a time for us to share generously with those that have seen misfortune. It is also a time for us to remember our brave men and women that serve in the United States Military, and are
