The Classical Collab TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Fee policies & Procedures 1.1. Fees are strictly payable in advance of the first workshop class, unless prior payment arrangement is made. 1.2 Failure to pay fees may result in the loss of the enrolment position. 2. Refund Policies & Procedures 2.1.Refunds may be given at the discretion of The Classical Collab directors. 2.2. In some cases of illness or injury partial refund may be considered at the discretion of Directors and upon receipt of a medical certificate 2.3 In the instance of COVID-19 related issues, all steps will be taken by the directors to continue rehearsals in accordance with the relevant Covid19 rules. The directors will have the discretion to determine whether workshops, rehearsals and performances can be held. 2.4 In the event of cancellation of workshop or rehearsals, refunds will be given on a pro-rata basis. Participant refunds will not be given if the performances are forced to be cancelled, however ticket refunds will be given. 3. Project information, Policies & Procedures 3.1. It is the responsibility of participants to read all information regarding rehearsals, performances and costuming. All of this can be found on our website ‘performers portal’. 4. Health, Safety, Injury & Medical Conditions Policies & Procedures 4.1. The Classical Collab is not liable for personal injury sustained or any loss or damage of personal property. 4.2. The Classical Collab will aim to provide a safe learning environment to reduce the risk of injury. It should be recognized by all participants, parents/ guardians that dance by its very nature carries a risk of injury or accident. 4.3. The Classical Collab provides qualified and/or experienced dance teachers and choreographers, who actively promote safe dance practice. This being the case it should be realised that injuries do occur from time to time and participants must accept this element of risk. 4.4. It is the participant’s or their parents/guardians responsibility to notify their teacher in the event of injury/medical condition which is being treated or may be of concern prior to class. 4.5. A first aid kit is available to any participant through their teacher. We do not provide anyone with Panadol or equivalent or administer any other medications.


4.6. All dancers of eligible age must have a current COVID-19 vaccination status, or an official exemption in order to participate in the workshop and performances. 4.7. All parents/guardians of participants must have a current COVID-19 vaccination status, or an official exemption in order to enter the workshop and performances venues. In lieu of this the dancer may be dropped off and picked up outside of the premises. 5. Class Policies 5.1. Rehearsal attendance is vital for students to develop and keep abreast of their part. Dancers must be punctual to rehearsals to ensure they receive a complete warm up. 5.2 Teachers at The Classical Collab offer equal opportunity to students in class. 5.3 The Classical Collab maintains the right to dismiss any participant who damages property or causes disruptions to any classes of a severe nature. 6. Photography & Videoing of Students 6.1. Accepting these terms and conditions is giving consent for the participant to be photographed and videoed during rehearsals and performances. If you need an exemption from this clause then please discuss this with The Classical Collab directors. 6.2. Upon enrolling into a season with The Classical Collab, the participant grants the company the publication rights of any photography and video material The Classical Collab performers taken by or for The Classical Collab. 7. Choreography 7.1.Unique choreography by a teacher for classes, performances and competitions remain their artistic and intellectual property. Choreography must not be copied or used without prior permission of The Classical Collab. 8. Privacy Act 8.1. This enrolment form collects personal information about the participant. Under the Privacy Act 1993 you are entitled to have access to, and request correction of this information. It is held by The Classical Collab and can be accessed by contacting Meaghan Rowe (020 4225538). 9. Complaints 9.1. Formal complaints should be made in writing to the Directors of The Classical Collab. The Director will contact the correspondent to verbally


discuss the issue(s) and will also write a letter of reply making every effort to find a resolution.
