2018 Munster Fleadh set to be ‘biggest one ever’ PÁRAIC McMAHON

OR the first time in 44 years, the Munster Fleadh returns to Clare and it will be the “biggest one ever”. On Tuesday, Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan Inis 2018 was launched at the Daniel O’Connell Monument in Ennis ahead of its eight day run which commences on Sunday July 15th. Joe Arkins is the Chairman of the Fleadh committee, he is convinced it will be a success. “Munster Fleadh is the second biggest Fleadh in the world and it will be bigger in Ennis than it has been anywhere else, it’s forty four years since it was

He explained why he was so certain, “We’ve two things, we’ve the weather which we’re sure of this year, we can’t get three in a row bad ones, but we have Ennis which is Ireland’s friendliest town, Ireland’s best town for trad sessions”.
