A lLOVE TRAIN: Rachael Finucane and Dermot Comerford met by chance on the train

DOONBEG man who met the love of his life aboard the Dublin to Limerick train has celebrated his marriage by returning on his wedding day to the scene of where they first met. When Doonbeg man Dermot Comerford saw Rachel Finucane’s name was displayed above her seat after boarding a train in Dublin, Dermot plucked up the courage to say hello. “I said how’s it going Rachel and the rest is history,” love bird Dermot said. Fast forward to six years later and the loved up couple returned to the platform on their wedding day. “We just thought it would be a nice way to mark it, to go back there on the wedding day and get some nice pictures,” Dermot added.
