LARE has been rocked by two separate tragedies which have claimed the lives of three people. Teenagers, Shay Moloney and Jack Kenneally died on Thursday last. The 15-year-olds were swimming with friends at an unused quarry site in Roslevan when the pair got into difficulty. Ennis Cathedral was packed on Sunday and Monday for the funerals of the talented rugby players, both members of Ennis RFC. Meanwhile on Tuesday, Crusheen man
Michael Fogarty died in a road traffic accident on the M18. The married father of three was involved in a collision with a truck and was pronounced dead at the scene. Michael was the landlord of Fogarty’s Pub and was a very prominent member of the community and Crusheen GAA.
