LARE joint senior hurling manager Gerry O’Connor has stepped down from his position after three years, The Clare Echo can exclu-

sively reveal. Despite speculation that he would return alongside Donal Moloney, O’Connor confirmed to The Clare Echo that he has informed the Clare County Board of his departure in recent days. Speaking to The Clare Echo, Gerry confirmed he would not be involved in 2020. Thanking colleagues, supporters and family members, he strongly urged the County Board to consider Moloney for the upcoming year.

“I wish Donal and the management team all the best in the future and I hope they will be asked to consider another term,” the Killanena native added.
