Overview

Coming off a state championship in 2021, Milton followed up an ideal season by winning a Regional championship in 2022. Unfortunately, they were unable to repeat as state champions, suffering a heartbreaking loss and being knocked out of the playoffs last season by Pebblebrook in the state quarterfinals. The Eagles will be losing a ton of production from last year’s extremely talented team. Kanaan Carlyle, who is a four-star guard committed to Stanford, has moved onto OTE. Georgia's reigning Gatorade Player of the Year Bruce Thornton is now in his freshman season at Ohio State. With so much talent gone from a year ago, Milton will be relying on some new faces to fill in some holes.

Player Spotlight
2025 guard Josh Dixon is entering his first season at Milton after transferring from North Cobb Christian. Though only an underclassmen, Dixon has a real chance to have a huge year for the Eagles. As a freshman, Dixon averaged over 20 points for North Cobb and was named to GHSA’s Class A-Private firstteam. Dixon is a tough-nosed, scoring guard. He has quickness that allows him to blow by defenders and finish at the rim. He also loves to stop on a dime and pull up in the mid range. Dixon currently holds offers from Middle Tennessee State, Presbyterian, and Western Carolina. That list should only continue to grow.
