Welcome to The Children’s Place! A playful, safe, healing space.
When you come for therapy you’ll see a bear. This is Rudy who will always be there.
In the lobby you’ll see a smiling face, ready to invite you into this space.
There are places to sit and things to play. We hope it makes you feel safe and okay.
First your grownup and therapist will chat. You can keep playing; they know where you’re at.
Let’s go to the playroom by elevator or stairs. Keep your eyes open for more Rudy Bears!
Many children and families have played here before. Let’s say hello to the rooms as we pass by each door.
Hello Sand Tray Room!
In these rooms you can play as you choose. This space is safe and made just for you.
Dinosaurs, art supplies, dollhouses, and blocks. Superheroes, puppets—they all help you talk.
Sometimes
hurts happen to people big and small. Here you can learn how to grow through them all.
Curious? Excited? Or mixed up inside?
All feelings are okay. There’s nothing to hide.
Your therapist will help you learn what to do when there are big feelings inside of you.
You will work hard and also have fun. The clock shows us when therapy is done.
Even as you leave this fun and healing space,
You will always belong at The Children’s Place.
