The Charity Guild Annual Report July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025
Dear Friend, As I look back over the past year, I feel deeply grateful for all that we’ve carried and accomplished together. Since the start of 2025, we have been facing immediate and significant federal funding cuts that directly impact our programs. These uncertain moments have caused a lot of concern. But thankfully, you—our loyal donors, our community-minded local businesses, and so many new neighbors who simply wanted to help for the first time—are the reason our doors have remained open and our programs have been able to stay afloat. Because of your generosity, we raised more than $680,000 to support our food programs. At a time when program costs are growing and food costs continue to rise, and federal funding sources have been reduced or removed, your support means everything. It allows us to feed as many neighbors as we possibly can—in real time —when they need it most. Many of our neighbors endured an anxiety-filled year and will face more of this in the year ahead. At the same time, many of our community members depend on SNAP benefits (1 in 8 U.S. residents rely on the program). The ever-changing news of cuts left families unsure of how they would get by. Unfortunately, as we look ahead to the new year, we know these concerns remain. Fortunately, in the middle of all this worry, you were there for us. For weeks, our phones rang nonstop with people asking how they could help. That instinct to step forward and act is what has defined The Charity Guild for 54 years. When we see a need, we come together to do whatever we can, to meet that need. Whether it’s volunteering for home deliveries, making a donation, or connecting us with a local business—please know that, however you choose to help, you are making a tremendous impact by providing food assistance to those most vulnerable. I’m grateful every day to lead this organization. We are surrounded by people who inspire us, encourage us, and remind us how important it is to care for one another. Program Updates
Walk-Up Pantry Downtown Brockton Providing fresh produce, bread, eggs, chicken, and shelf stable pantry staples. Clients can visit once per month.
Brockton High School Pantry Provides backpacks full of individual serving sized meals and snacks for the weekend.

Home Delivery Program Senior citizens and the homebound receive a food delivery every month.

Nearly 1 in 3 teens can’t afford monthly menstrual products. Thanks to many volunteer groups, we’ve provided 500+ care kits at our pantry inside BHS!
May 2025: 150 second-graders at the Baker School selected gifts with love for their special someone.
Mother’s Day
With The Beanery and Vertec Corp. leading this program, we provided holiday gifts and meals to 300 senior citizens living in Brockton Housing Authority apartments.
In partnership with Brockton Rotary Club, students painted planters and Brockton Rotarians packaged the pots to be distributed through our home deliveries.
Monthly Care Kits
September 2024: We raised $3,164.78 in just one month, meaning TCG was able to provide food for 6,329 more meals to those in need. High fives all around!
