September marks our “2nd start of the year”…..that’s when we begin working with our K-12 educational partners and introducing their students to local employers. We could not do this work without dedicated superintendents, principals, career & college instructors and counselors. Thank you all for allowing us to expand the possibilities of your students.

October will mark our 11th year of celebrating Manufacturing Month. We have reached out to our manufacturing members to open their doors to expose students and educators to the array of career opportunities that each of our manufacturing members offer.

This November will mark our 7th year of celebrating Healthcare Month. I will be reaching out to the healthcare institutions to arrange for in-person tours as well.

We look forward to building awareness with our education partners to the many careers that exist locally in various industries.

Kettering Health is committed to delivering high-quality care, a positive experience, and better access to patient services. Kettering Health Middletown is a big part of KH's vision. Since opening in August 2018, Kettering Health Middletown has served approximately 2,000 patients each month in our full-service 12-bed emergency room that also has an additional eight overflow/observation beds. In addition, we provide many outpatient services, including primary care medicine, laboratory, and radiology services, as well as specialty services like cardiology, OB-GYN, and orthopedic services accounting for more than 38,000 outpatient visits last year.
