Next month (April) we will be starting a new CLIMB Class and celebrating our 40th year of preparing a next generation of leaders. If your organization has identified an emerging leader, these sessions will better define their leadership skills to be successful. Click this link to learn more about the topics being covered in these eight (8) sessions program. Registration deadline, March 25. Part of the program includes visits to some local facilities to learn what they make and what this area has to offer.

I am including two additional resources to the e-newsletter for the coming months; The State of The Region and The Rising Storm. The first report will give you detailed information about the greater region we call home. The second report is about “the storm“ heading our way and it attempts to answer the question, where is the workforce and how do we manage what is coming ?

Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 12 for our Annual Golf Outing. Shaker Run will again be hosting us, so please plan to invite a customer to spend the day with you.

Thank you to all the members how have renewed their investment for 2025. Our success is due to your commitment to the mission.

Best in profits for 2025!

The Rising Storm

You can’t prepare for a storm if you don’t know it’s coming.

The US faces a shortfall of millions of workers in the decade to come. Workforce strategies need to adapt, but if you don’t know what changes lie in store, you can’t know what changes to make in response.

The disruption ahead is like a hurricane. TheRisingStormoutlines a few items to consider, providing insight on when the storm will arrive.

The news is not comforting—the most acute shortages of workers will arrive in under a decade, primarily in the next five years, and the industries hardest hit are among those our society relies on most, including healthcare and construction.
