As most of you well know, it is our focus to build local employment/career awareness with our students. As August arrives, we continue to communicate with our K-12 schools for the upcoming school year. A great deal of students never drive by many of our employers and don’t really have an opportunity to tour your facility. If you would like to get involved with our local schools, please call the office (513-422-4551) and we’ll make sure to introduce you to the correct people at the schools.
We are always recruiting members who would like to endorse the Passport To Tomorrow Initiative of Middletown City Schools. Feel free to call the office (513422-4551) to learn more. I am reminded at this time of year to look for organizations willing to present business skills to our students and the Junior Achievement curriculum is a great fit!
A sincere thank you to the businesses and organizations who have already endorsed the program and who has delivered business-skill topics to students in the past. Manufacturing Tours are in October and Healthcare Tours in November.
