We had a successful Manufacturing Month in October. Ten (10) companies hosted just over 320 students those companies were BlueScope, Crane Consumables, Deceuninck, Essity, Magellan Aerospace, Phillips Tube, Pilot Chemical, Precision Strip, Shape Corporation and Shepherd Chemical.

Thank you for hosting students from various schools and introducing them to the world of manufacturing and the opportunities it offers. Thank you to the educators for their participation.

As we approach the end of 2025, I thank all our members who renewed their investment for this year. We’ve had a very successful year, especially with what we’ve been able to accomplish. In early December, a great majority of you will be receiving your renewal for 2026. Please reply in a prompt manner to ensure we keep our momentum, and your company retains their chamber benefits. We look forward to a very successful 2026.

Please exercise your right to Vote on November 4.

We surveyed the students and this is what we learned: This initiative has effectively transformed perceptions, proving that hands-on engagement is the most powerful tool for dispelling myths and inspiring the next generation of manufacturing professionals.

Changing the Narrative

Collaborating to Change The Narrative —

I am happy to share that four (4) organizations have come together to continue to “change the narrative” for Middletown; The Middletown Community Foundation, the City of Middletown, The Chamber and Cincinnati Commercial Contracting. We will continue to take the initiative to changethenarrativeand share more positive stories that never seem to make it to the readers.

We hope you enjoy it and please share it across your social media platforms.

Our Foundation

For more than 50 years, our chamber of commerce has had a 501c3 charitable foundation to help with past objectives. The foundation was created in the early 1970’s and there are conflicting stories on why and what project was their focus. Nonetheless, the Middletown Area Chamber Foundation is now doing business as The Chamber Partnership for a Brighter Future. Our focus will be on raising dollars to fund our Future Ready Workforce initiatives.

You will be seeing more information as we move into 2026. Please consider becoming a “funder” of our objectives and be part of the solution of better preparing the next generation for the workforce.!!
