The Power In The Healing Anointing (Part 1)
Pastor Nkechi Ene (Mrs.) 14 Now when Jesus had come into Peter’s house, He saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever. 15 So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them. Matthew 8:14-15 29 Now as soon as they had come out of the synagogue, they entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. 30 But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once. 31 So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. And she served them. Mark 1:29-31
In this article and the next, we are going to learn from these Scriptures the power that is available in the healing anointing.
Recognizing The Healing Anointing Creates An Atmosphere For Miracle 29 Now as soon as they had come out of the synagogue, they entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. 30 But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once. 31 So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. And she served them. Mark 1:29-31
38 Now He arose from the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. But Simon’s wife’s mother was sick with a high fever, and they made request of Him concerning her. 39 So He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And immediately she arose and served them. Luke 4:38-39

story from different authors of the Gospel books, one may wonder true. One may wonder, “Which one of these events really happened? How did Jesus heal Peter’s mother-in-law? In this particular case, how was the healing anointing released?” I, personally, believe strongly that all the events recorded in the Bible took place. Jesus did all of those things. The truth is that the healing anointing can be administered in many ways; there are no rules when it comes to administering

So, as a child of God you do not need a man of God to physically come to you and lay hands on you or for Jesus to come physically to your house before you receive your healing. No! As a believer, in the name of Jesus Christ, you have the anointing to rebuke sickness and disease from your body and to lay your hands on a sick person and pray for them to get healed. When you recognize the presence of the healing anointing in you, you will create the right atmosphere for a miracle. The healing anointing resides within you because you are a believer in the name of Jesus. You will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover; you will lay hands on yourself, and you will recover. Hallelujah!
The Healing Anointing Can Be Administered In Many Ways 15 So He touched her hand, and the fever left her.
healing anointing by touching or by your actions of faith. When you take steps of faith that defy the doctor’s report, you release the healing anointing. Luke’s account differs a little because Luke wrote that Jesus rebuked the fever and it left the woman. The word “rebuke” means to reprimand, strongly warn, restrain, an expression of sharp disapproval or criticism. This shows that Jesus spoke sharply and with authority to the fever and it left the woman’s body. You don’t have to shout but you can talk with authority. When you rebuke the pain from your body, in the name of Jesus Christ, it should depart from your body. That is how you take care of sickness and disease. Your healing is present in the way and manner God has

determined the healing anointing to be administered to you at that point in time. So, one of the keywords to both receiving and administering the healing anointing is sensitivity. It is not a luxury to hear from God. Obedience, simple obedience to God, is required for us to contact the healing anointing.
