Before Your

Pleasant Surprise Pastor Nkechi Ene Until a miracle has manifested, the preparation does not end. In this article, I will be showing you three ways to prepare for your pleasant surprise and you will indeed, begin to experience sudden miracles in your life.

36 Then Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced that God had prepared the people since the events took place so suddenly.

2 Chronicles 29:36

The word “suddenly” means surprisingly, instantly, straight away. It comes from a root word that means to open the eyes unexpectedly, in a moment, or in a little time with a lot of ease.

The events that took place in our text above happened suddenly and because they came from God, they are good events. There are also negative events like sudden accidents or sudden death, I am not talking about them. I am talking about the goodness of God and the Bible says the people rejoiced because what God had to do, He did suddenly. God had prepared the people and the thing was done suddenly.

Are you ready for your unusual, sudden, and uncommon miracle?

Do you know that there is nothing that happens suddenly?

The Bible says that God had prepared the people. Though the events seemed sudden, it started when God began preparing the people. God was already at work behind the scene. It is time for you to enter into your sudden, unusual, and uncommon miracle but the preparation for that miracle has already started. So, this is your season of harvest. It is a time of culminating the result of God’s preparation. It is time for you to lock into the result of God’s preparation.

Focus On God 5 and said to them: “Hear me, Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, sanctify the house of the Lord God of your fathers, and carry out the rubbish from the holy place.

6 For our fathers have trespassed and done evil in the eyes of the Lord our God; they have forsaken Him, have turned their faces away from the dwelling place of the Lord, and turned their backs on Him. 11 My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and that you should minister to Him and burn incense.”

2 Chronicles 29:5-6,11

The first thing God did in preparing the people was to align their focus on Him. God is saying to you, “Take your focus from everything that has been distracting you and keep your focus on Me. I am preparing you for something, keep your focus on Me. Sanctify yourself because there is something I am preparing you for”. When your focus on God is unbroken, you walk into your sudden, unusual and uncommon miracle. Be diligent and realize that the reason why you are chosen of God is that you might serve Him. Hezekiah told the people; that God was preparing them.

Worship And Praise God 28 So all the assembly worshipped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.

29 And when they had finished offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed and worshipped.

30 Moreover, King Hezekiah and the leaders commanded the Levites to sing praise to the Lord with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.

2 Chronicles 29:28-30

When you keep your focus on God, He brings you to a place of worship and praise. In doing that, He is preparing you for a miracle. God brings you to place of total submission and worship. He brings you to a place where

He is all you need and want. In the place of worship, you are just consumed by His love and all you want to do is just come into His presence, bow down, and just love on Him. The place of worship and praise is a place where God is all that matters to you. It is a place that loving God, is all that is important to you; it is then that you are ready for your miracle. The priest joined the people and they all bowed down and they worshipped the Lord. They rose with gladness and with a sound of joy and praised God immensely.

God wants to bring you to that place where you are ready to bow down before Him, no matter what you are wearing, or who is next to you. When you are in complete surrender to God, you are saying that you are ready for your miracle, because it is through worship and praise that you get right into the heartbeat of God.

Give Generously 31 Then Hezekiah answered and said, “Now that you have consecrated yourselves to the Lord, come near, and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the Lord.” So the assembly brought in sacrifices and thank offerings, and as many as were of a willing heart brought burnt offerings.

32 And the number of the burnt offerings which the assembly brought was seventy bulls, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs; all these were for a burnt offering to the Lord.

33 The consecrated things were six hundred bulls and three thousand sheep.

34 But the priests were too few so that they could not skin all the burnt offerings; therefore their brethren the Levites helped them until the work was ended and until the other priests had sanctified themselves, for the Levites were more diligent in sanctifying themselves than the priests.

35 Also, the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings and with the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the Lord was set in order.

2 Chronicles 29:31-35

The people gave to the point that the priest could not handle the blessing. Opportunities to give abound. One of the ways God prepares you for your unusual miracles is by sending you opportunities to sow. Normally, what you sow is what you reap but when you sow financial seeds in the house of God, you reap various kinds of

harvests because you keep your treasure where your heart is and when your heart is on the things of God, miracles are the result.

You can sow financially and receive the harvest of children.

Keep recognizing opportunities to give and when you give, you are telling God, “My heart is in Your matter, so I know Your heart is in my matter”. When God’s purpose is foremost in your heart, uncommon miracles will manifest and your womb will bring forth those babies you desire.

You have to be sensitive and engage in spontaneous giving of offerings in the house of God. You can give to your pastors, leaders, and others. If you have been doing that, know that God has been preparing you for your sudden miracle.

The Scripture says that the service of the house of the Lord was set in order. Therefore, God is saying that certain areas of your life that need repair, and attention, He has been preparing you. Suddenly, you will see that those areas of your life would be firmly established and set properly. Whatever has brought you shame and reproach, you will see order being restored to it.

So, keep keeping your focus on God, worship and praise Him continually and keep doing those things that please Him. Anticipate and seize opportunities to give and you will see that your testimony will be that God turned your captivity and you were like someone that was dreaming. Maybe it is your marriage that needs repair or a part of your body; your unusual and uncommon miracle will manifest suddenly, in a little time, and with a lot of ease.

This is your season of opportunity to worship and praise God. This is your season to give Him the best and it will happen suddenly that you will check your calendar, and find out that you have missed your period. Suddenly, your tummy starts bulging out!

God says that you need to understand that it is a time of preparation, so your eyes have to be focused on Him. Remove every distraction from your temple like sin, and make sure your focus is only on Him. Keep finding opportunities to give back to God, and you will see His mighty hand on your behalf. He will show Himself strong on your behalf because it is the season for which He has been preparing you for. Get ready for pleasant surprises! Hallelujah!
